Born into a family deeply rooted in the pork production tradition, our journey in the United States was marked by exploration through various occupations until we rediscovered our true passion in crafting pork-based delicacies reminiscent of our Vietnamese heritage. In September 2009, TamBien emerged as a tribute to our roots, inaugurating its inaugural store on Bolsa Avenue, adjacent to Phuc Loc Tho. The inception of our business in the American landscape posed formidable challenges, particularly in sourcing premium ingredients and authentic recipes reminiscent of our hometown. Yet, with unwavering familial support and a treasury of generational recipes, we surmounted these obstacles, establishing TamBien as a premier "one-stop shop service," offering both genuine Vietnamese cuisine and fresh, affordable meats. Presently, with two thriving locations on Bolsa Ave and Westminster Ave, alongside the addition of 'Essence Eating and Dining' under the TamBien Corp umbrella, our expansion has ventured into wholesale operations meeting USDA standards, producing traditional Vietnamese delicacies such as sausages, egg rolls, and mắm. Our aspiration remains steadfast: to broaden the spectrum of traditional Vietnamese fare and introduce our culinary heritage to a wider American audience. We envision TamBien not only as a beloved fixture within the Vietnamese community but also as a conduit for fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for Vietnamese culinary traditions across all of America.
